This is the list of what will either be essential for the journey or make it a little more comfortable.

We will be donating most of these items to the two charities we're supporting when we arrive in Ulaan Baatar.

For the car...
* Tool kit - hammer, socket set, spanners, allen keys, metal saw, pliers (possibly useful when driving one third of the earth's distance...)
* GPS – nothing fancy – just a latitude/longitude locator incase we need to get rescued out of the Kazakhstani desert!

For the journey...
* Digital camera and/or video – to record the adventure and show you that Kyrgyzstan really is a country!
* ‘Twister’ – for entertainment at boarder crossing

* Paint pens for car art (for locals to draw on the car)

* Rehydration sachets (for when we drink the water and really regret it)

* Antihistamines (Karen is guaranteed to be allergic to everything that bites her)
